Mastering Engineer

Warren started his career working as a freelance recording & mixing engineer in Phoenix Arizona, working mainly at Living Head Audio Recording. This led to a contract doing all recording and mixing for the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra where he worked with many talented soloists such as Doc Severinsen and Yo-Yo Ma. During this time Warren honed his skills in audio production teaching at Mesa Community Collage & The Conservatory of Recording in Tempe Arizonaas well as interacting with clients on a musical and personal level.

While doing this Warren started focusing on mastering and found that he had a natural talent for this niche corner of the audio community and Warren Ross Audio Mastering was created in Phoenix Arizona. Over the next 6 years Warren grew his client base while also perfecting his mastering skills & sharpening his ears working on hundreds of albums, EP's and singles.

In 2010 Warren moved to Los Angeles to start at Universal Mastering Studios as a temporary analog to digital archiving engineer, soon after he was brought on full time as a mastering,production & tech engineer. Since then, Warren has worked on albums for artist like The Band Perry, Imagine Dragons, The Colorists, The Moody Blues and the TV show The Voice. Warren was also highly involved in the beginning of the Mastered For iTunes process, helping with workflow & setting standards for MFiT audio.
