Vincent Freda

Approaching his 20th Anniversary with the company, Vinnie joined Universal Music Group in 1989. He began his journey in the A&R Administration department of MCA Records and eventually expanded his responsibilities to include Marketing Administration and Production. In 1999, when Universal merged with PolyGram, Vinnie became head of Common Label Operations for UMG, a centralized services division that included such areas as Copyright Administration, Media Planning, Consumer Marketing Services, and the Travel Services department. With the growth of digital commerce, Vinnie was promoted to Executive Vice President of Digital Logistics and Business Services in 2004. As a result, he now oversees all aspects of UMG's digital supply chain in North America.

Prior to joining Universal, Vinnie worked at Warner Bros. Records and served as Business Manager for a San Francisco rock band called "Eddie and the Tide", which was signed to Atlantic Records in the mid-1980's.
